Bespoke Cabinet Making, Kitchen & Bedroom Supply and Installation
These Terms and Conditions govern all sales and services provided by Best Masters. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a
consumer, nor do they exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
1. Definitions
* "Goods": The bespoke kitchens, bedrooms, office furniture, and related products supplied and/or installed by Best Masters.
* "Order": The customer's request for Goods and/or services.
* "Order Confirmation": The formal acknowledgement issued once the deposit is received.
* "Price": The total agreed cost for Goods and/or services including any applicable delivery or installation fees.
* "Customer" / "You": The person or entity purchasing from Best Masters.
* "Best Masters" / "We" / "Us": The trading name of our company.
2. Placing an Order
2.1 Orders are placed via direct consultation (phone, online, or in person).
2.2 A 50% non- refundable deposit is required to confirm the order and secure a production slot.
2.3 Once confirmed, we will provide an estimated delivery and/or installation date. All dates are indicative only and may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
3. Customer Cancellations & Changes
3.1 Orders may be cancelled or amended within 24 hours of confirmation without penalty.
3.2 After 24 hours, cancellations will result in loss of deposit.
3.3 Amendments after this period may incur additional costs and revised installation timelines.
4. Cancellation by Us
Best Masters reserves the right to cancel an order under the following conditions:
* Non- payment of deposit
* Lack of material availability
* Unsafe installation conditions
* Any circumstance preventing safe or proper fulfilment of the contract
If cancellation occurs from our side, any monies paid will be refunded within 30 days, but no additional compensation will be payable.
5. Product Representation
5.1 All images, drawings, brochures, and marketing materials are illustrative only.
5.2 Natural variations in colour, grain, shade, texture, or pattern between samples and final materials are normal characteristics of manufactured or natural materials and do not constitute faults.
6. Measurements & Responsibilities
6.1 Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements unless measurements are taken by a Best Masters representative.
6.2 Goods manufactured using incorrect customer - provided specifications are non- returnable and non- refundable.
6.3 Customers must review order details and notify us of discrepancies within 24 hours of confirmation.
6.4 Design Approval
Once drawings, specifications, layouts, finishes, or design details have been approved by the customer, they are considered final. Any subsequent changes requested after approval may result in
additional charges and revised manufacturing or installation timelines.
6.5 Customer Approval
Prior to manufacturing, customers may be required to review and approve drawings, specifications, finishes, and measurements. Approval may be given in writing, electronically, or by signature. Once
approval has been provided, the design is considered final and authorised for manufacture.
7. Payments
7.1 Deposit
A 50% non- refundable deposit is required to confirm the order and secure production capacity.
7.2 Pre - Installation Payment
A further 40% payment is due prior to delivery or installation. Best Masters reserves the right to delay delivery or installation until this payment has been received in full.
7.3 Final Balance
The remaining 10% balance is due immediately upon practical completion of installation.
7.4 Practical Completion
Practical completion is deemed to occur when installation is substantially complete and the Goods are usable for their intended purpose. Minor adjustments, cosmetic touch- ups, or snagging items
shall not delay or prevent payment of the final balance.
7.5 Failure to Pay
If payment is not made when due, Best Masters reserves the right to:
* Charge reasonable late payment fees or interest in accordance with UK law
* Suspend any warranty or aftercare services until full payment is received
* Pursue recovery of outstanding balances through debt collection or legal proceedings
Any reasonable recovery costs may be added to the outstanding balance.
7.6 Deposit Allocation
The deposit secures production capacity and covers design work, administration, and the ordering or manufacturing of bespoke materials. Deposits are therefore non- refundable once production or
material procurement has commenced.
8. Delivery and Installation 8.1 Delivery is free within a 5- mile radius unless otherwise agreed. Deliveries outside this area may incur additional charges.
8.2 Delivery and installation dates are approximate and not guaranteed.
8.3 Installation will be carried out in accordance with industry standards.
8.4 Best Masters is not liable for incidental structural damage unless caused by proven negligence.
8.5 Customers must inspect and approve installation upon completion. Once our team leaves the property, responsibility for the Goods transfers to the customer.
8.6 Access & Decoration
Due to the size of wardrobe and cabinet panels, minor scuffs or marks to walls, ceilings, or access routes may occur during delivery or installation. While reasonable care will be taken, Best Masters
accepts no liability for cosmetic marks caused during manoeuvring of large components. Customers are advised to complete the final coat of decoration after installation.
8.7 Site Preparation
Customers must ensure the installation area is cleared and accessible before installation begins. Best Masters is not responsible for moving furniture, appliances, or personal belongings unless agreed
in advance.
8.8 Wall & Structural Tolerances
Due to natural variations in walls, floors, and ceilings (including uneven or out- of- plumb surfaces), small gaps, scribing adjustments, or filler panels may be required during installation. These are
standard installation practices and do not constitute faults.
8.9 Third- Party Work
Best Masters is not responsible for issues arising from work carried out by third parties including builders, plasterers, electricians, decorators, flooring installers, or other contractors.
8.10 Supplier Delays
Best Masters is not liable for delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping issues, or material shortages.
8.11 Customer Property
Customers are responsible for removing or protecting fragile or valuable items from the work area. Best Masters accepts no liability for damage to items left within the installation area.
8.12 Storage & Delayed Installation
If installation cannot proceed on the agreed date due to site readiness, access restrictions, or customer delays, Best Masters reserves the right to charge reasonable storage, re - delivery, or
rescheduling fees.
8.13 Electrical Works
Unless specifically agreed in writing, Best Masters does not undertake electrical installation. Any electrical connections required for lighting, sockets, appliances, or other electrical components must
be carried out by a qualified electrician. Best Masters accepts no responsibility for electrical faults, wiring issues, or failures caused by third- party electrical work or existing property wiring.
9. Warranty
9.1 Best Masters provides a 12 - month warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship.
9.2 Faulty goods must be reported promptly.
9.3 Items damaged through misuse, alteration, normal wear, or after the warranty period are not covered.
10. Liability & Force Majeure
10.1 Best Masters is not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
10.2 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of our products.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will first be addressed through negotiation or mediation before legal proceedings.
12. Final Provisions
12.1 These Terms form the entire agreement between Best Masters and the customer.
12.2 If any clause is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid.
12.3 By placing an order, the customer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
